A collaborative paper between D-TechnoSS and Tech-0-Artif on creating sustainable value in an ecovillage was presented at the CIRP LCE 2025 conference at the University of Manchester.

We were pleased to contribute to this year's flagship event on sustainability and innovation in engineering, which brought together experts from academia and industry to advance the field of Life Cycle Engineering. During the conference, the study:

" A conceptual framework for sustainable value creation: a case study of a French ecovillage" was presented by Liam Piaser (AMVALOR), in collaboration with Tatiana Reyes (ENSAM) and Miguel Lopez (UTT).

The research explores how ecovillages, as living laboratories for sustainability, can foster systemic change by co-creating sustainable value (SV) through their territories, ecosystems, and social dynamics. A dedicated framework was introduced and applied through a real-world case study of a French ecovillage.

This work is part of the Tech-0-Artif and D-TechnoSS projects, with the support of Oasis du Coq à l’âme, and funding from ADEME and ANR.

The full article will soon be available in the official LCE2025 proceedings.

Thank you to the CIRP community for a stimulating and collaborative event.
