On October 10 and 11, the annual progress seminar of the D-TechnoSS project took place. On this occasion, the team met at UMR 5600 EVS in Lyon.
During these two days of collaborative work, scientific and managerial points of the D-TechnoSS project (ANR-20-CE10-0006) were discussed. Professor Laure Lavorata, from the University of Paris Naterre, gave an enriching presentation on theoretical models of consumption that identify consumer influencing factors and how these could integrate the strong sustainability approach. The second part dealt with the progress of Mélissa Escobar's doctoral thesis on design for strong sustainability DfSoSy. This doctoral research is supervised by Valérie Laforest, Jenny Faucheu, and Nadège Troussier. This intervention also included the main results of Clothilde Gagne's Master 2 internships. Her internship focused on the application of the design for strong sustainability (DfSoSy) method to a food problem in an ecovillage (OASIS du coq à l'âme in Celettes).
This working meeting also aimed at finalizing a scientific paper on the interdisciplinary positioning of the D-TechnoSS project. This article will be submitted for publication in November 2023. We thank all the members of the D-TechnoSS team for these two days of rich exchanges.
In April 2024, the Université de Technologie de Troyes, coordinating partner of the project, will host the next face-to-face meeting.
